    Update – New Core and Terrace
    The drainage works are complete.  The first section of the steel frame has now been created.  The lift base is in the process of being cast.

    Update – Barwick Street Facade
    The works are now complete.  The scaffolding has been removed.  The small section of scaffolding will remain so the tower crane can lift materials from Barwick Street.

    The Grand Hotel Birmingham wins Victorian Society’s Birmingham and the West Midlands Group’s Conservation Award
    The restoration of facade of The Grand Hotel in Birmingham has won the Victorian Society’s Birmingham and the West Midlands Group’s first conservation award for work on Victorian and Edwardian buildings in the region.     Barwick Street Façade – Update January 2016
    The snagging process has commenced with the first sections of scaffold removed in Barwick Street.  The internal courtyard elevation will be next followed by the remaining Barwick Street sections over the next 4 weeks.
